The purpose of this Commission is to coordinate activities and groups which build parish family life, as well as coordinate activities to strengthen home life. The commission serves as a resource and advocate in areas of concern to families of all types.
- Our Lady’s Guild: The Ladies Guild was established to promote Catholic, Christian friendship and sociability and to respond to the needs for service in the parish, the Catholic community and the larger Lexington community. Some of the ways this is done are through: Ladies’ meetings and social activities/ fund raisers for the Church and outreach, Christmas Angel Tree, support of Alpha Pregnancy Center, Veterans fundraising for VA Hospital, Crisis Ministry, and financial assistance to the Parish when and where needed, as determined by the Pastor.
- Knights of Columbus: An organization of Catholic men dedicated to the Church’s growth and her good works. We support the teaching that all life is sacred, and we reach out to the needy. We support vocations to the Priesthood and religious life. We are committed to our local communities and financially support our Parish, Special Olympics, and other community outreach programs. We value our youth and focus on sponsoring activities which promote leadership in the Church and their civic lives. We are united to other Knights through our Councils and strive for unity and the building of a strong Order worldwide.
