The Most Reverend Michael T. Martin, OFM Conv., Bishop of Charlotte, has announced that Reverend Sabastian Umouyo, M.S.P., who has served as Pastor, is being transferred from Our Lady of the Rosary Church to a new assignment of Pastor at St. Eugene Church in Asheville. This transfer becomes effective on July 8, 2025. We are grateful to Reverend Sabastian Umouyo, M.S.P., for his dedicated ministry to our parish.
The Bishop also announces that Reverend Oscar D. Benavides, who has served as Parochial Vicar, is being transferred from St. John Neumann Church in Charlotte and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Charlotte to a new assignment of Parochial Administrator at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. This transfer becomes effective on July 8, 2025. We look forward to welcoming him to our parish community.
